Due Diligence AnalystRemote (must work EST hours) * All interested and qualified candidates can please contact Schuyler Moose at [email protected] the Analyst - Corporate Compliance, you will be primarily responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence research and analysis to identify and understand legal, regulatory, and reputational risks related to Hilton owners, suppliers, and business partners. Tasks include analysis and validation of due diligence reports; conducting additional independent open-source research; identifying potential risks and coordinating the proper escalation of such findings; and, additional compliance projects as assigned.Responsibilities· Oversee, coordinate, monitor and maintain the day-to-day compliance due diligence activities for operations of the third-party anti-bribery/anti-corruption program, including conducting third-party anti-bribery and anti-corruption due diligence reviews, identifying potential red flags, requesting supporting information where necessary and escalating for heightened review as appropriate· Careful analysis and validation of due diligence reports, including ownership and legal status of third parties· Provide final reports containing relevant findings and recommendations to business units· Support Compliance initiatives and assisting members of the Compliance team in administrative and substantive areas as needed.Requirements:· Good working knowledge of performing due diligence, basic knowledge of Anti-money Laundering, ‘Know-Your-Suppler’ and ‘Know-Your-Customer’ regulatory requirements.· Excellent analytical capability, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple work-streams.· Ability to ensure proper compliance protocols/procedures are adhered to and applied correctly.· Cultural awareness, sound business acumen, and the ability to exercise judgment in analyzing facts or circumstances surrounding sensitive issues.· Being a self-starter, well-organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities and possess a high level of positive energy and drive.· Having excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.· Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team with strong organizational, interpersonal and collaborative skills.· Availability to work flexible hours (to accommodate time zones) is an advantage.· Having excellent problem-solving skills so you can find effective and creative solutions to difficult problems while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.· 1-3 years’ experience in a professional environment required.· Experience conducting due diligence or know your customer (KYC) activities is a plus.· Preferred skills (not required): o Additional language skills preferred: Arabic, Spanish, or Chineseo Lexus Nexuso Exposure for due diligenceEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.We do not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, or related medical conditions), age, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, genetic information, registered domestic partner status, marital status, disability, status as a crime victim, protected veteran status, political affiliation, union membership, or any other characteristic protected by law.
