Director of Data and Analytics
Join RAS to lead the strategy and execution of enterprise-wide data initiatives and make a significant impact through data-driven decision-making! We are seeking a dynamic individual with experience in the insurance industry and a talent for interpreting data that drives business decisions and results! The Director of Data and Analytics will oversee business intelligence, data architecture and management, governance, data science,, artificial intelligence, and data reporting to ensure business decisions are informed by high-quality data.This role will work to evangelize data-centric decision-making to help departments achieve goals. The Director of Data and Analytics will lead a group of IT employees to achieve high performance. This position provides the flexibility of a hybrid or home-based work arrangement based on residence. The candidate must reside in one of the following states: South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, or Wisconsin. Candidates located in Sioux Falls will follow a 3 days in-office and 2 days remote schedule.What we are looking for:• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of progressive business analytics experience or a master's degree with at least 5 years of progressive business analytics experience. • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role. • Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is required. • Proficiency in complex technical designs, architecture, decision-making, and articulating product visions/roadmaps is essential.
