Job Summary:The Diligence Reporting Analytics I plays a key role in supporting the execution of mortgage loan transactions by ensuring data accuracy, resolving exceptions, and maintaining operational integrity throughout the due diligence lifecycle. This role focuses on foundational reporting tools and data workflows. Handles intake requests, resolves basic reporting issues, and provides backup support for scheduled reports and data ingestion processes.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:• Manage intake requests and assign to appropriate team members (swim lanes). • Generate standard reports and validate data accuracy across multiple data sources. • Support scheduled reporting processes and perform basic troubleshooting. • Maintain documentation and audit trails for reporting activities.• Ensure adherence to data quality checks and basic governance practices. • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance reporting processes and data workflows. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in reporting activities. Required Skills & Experience• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, basic charts). • Basic SQL for querying data and validating results. • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio). • Attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication.• Ability to quickly learn new reporting tools and adapt to changing data environments. • Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Domain Knowledge• Working knowledge of RMBS transactions and mortgage loan data (preferred). • Understanding of due diligence workflows and exception management (preferred). • Candidates without direct domain experience are encouraged to apply; training will be provided. Experience & Education• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field (preferred).• 2+ years of experience in real estate, financial services, or banking (preferred). • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. • Exceptions may be made for candidates with exceptional analytical skills demonstrated via coursework, internships, or relevant projects.
