Conversion Rate Optimization Analyst - Contract to Hire

We are looking for a talented CRO analyst to join (fully remote), as a freelancer, our e-commerce optimization team. As a firm, we work directly with growing online merchants, on the Shopify platform ($5M - $100M in revenue), to help them increase conversion rates and revenue per user through site optimizations and A/B testing. You will be joining our existing team and working with our head of CRO to manage the optimization of specific e-commerce clients. We are growing quickly. And this is an opportunity to quickly take on new work and engage with well known, exciting DTC brands.Long term or full-time employment is an option if interested. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Setup and manage all A/B tests in Covert.com and VWO- Report on test results and projected revenue increases using the Bayesian method. - Report directly to our Head of CRO- Work with our head of CRO to recommend new A/B testing suggestions for each client- Direct designers and developers with instructions for implementing testing winners- Write weekly progress and update reports to clients explaining the results- Be available for 2 calls per month, per client, to discuss CRO strategy- Be available for weekly (at least 2) internal team calls- Review Google Analytics and/or Google Data studio to help answer client questions and uncover opportunities on their sites- MUST be available during US/Canada timezones (for at least 50%) to attend client calls.QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum 2 years of CRO experience- Minimum 2 years experience setting up A/B tests- Proficient in setting up and managing tests in Convert.com (or equivalent)- Proficient in event tracking and analysis in GA4 (2-3 years experience)- Ability to write and edit basic HTML (for A/B tests)- Understanding of basic javascript and CSS concepts (need to make sure nothing breaks when you set up A/B tests using HTML or the WYSIWYG editor)- Understanding of Shopify templates and sections to ensure tests are set up and targeting correctly- Experience using Google / Lookr Data Studio is a plusABOUT US:We are a fully remote team that works with fast growing consumer brands.Our projects are exciting, challenging, and A LOT of fun.
