##The opportunityDevelop and implement a comprehensive compliance monitoring and testing programme to assess the institution's adherence to internal policies and external regulationsConduct regular reviews and assessments to identify potential areas of non-complianceProvide compliance advisory support and guidance to the Regional Operations Business Leadership team on new and existing regulations and rules, best practices and compliance with internal procedures and directivesDevelop, implement and operationalise policies and procedures required to be compliant with all applicable regulations, including AML/CFTOversee the implementation of new regulatory requirements as they arise and assisting with horizon scanning (in close cooperation with colleagues from the Strategy and Regulatory teams)Work closely with the COO and the CEO Initiatives to ensure close alignment and operational compliance efficiencies for regional group entities are implementedSupport the Kraken Product Team for any new product roll out in the regionDevelop and deliver compliance training programs specific to Existing Irish/EU and future regulatory requirements, ensuring employees are knowledgeable and aware of their obligationsOversight of regulatory reporting requirementsEnsure marketing material adheres to local requirementsFoster a culture of compliance awareness and accountability through regular communication and training initiatives## Skills you should HODLStrong second-line Compliance experience in a previous senior position at a regulated MiFiD investment firm, MTF, bank, crypto exchange or payments firmKnowledge of AMLD’s, CJA, EMR and PSD2Experience in relation to VASP registrationsExperience managing complex, global compliance projectsDemonstrated ability to effectively analyze risk and apply sound judgment in a timely mannerPractical knowledge of compliance risk management techniquesProactive, strategic, comfortable with navigating ambiguity, bias for actionStrategic financial crimes and markets compliance experienceExecution mindset## Nice to haveDemonstrated success in scaling operational processes leveraging technologyExperience and/or passion for crypto Apply tot his job
