About the position Responsibilities • supporting compliance monitoring • documentation • reporting • privacy inquiries • special projects Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required - preferably in a healthcare-related field. • Background in healthcare compliance, privacy, or related regulatory fields required. • Familiarity with relevant federal and state healthcare laws, regulations, and guidelines. • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare compliance and privacy concepts and practices. • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. • Experience providing service to a high volume of healthcare customers or partners in New York’s healthcare ecosystem. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel and PowerPoint. • Ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives and meet established deadlines. Nice-to-haves • CHC, CHPC, or other relevant HCCA certifications preferred.• Knowledge of SHIN-NY (State Health Information Network for New York) policies and procedures preferred.
