Chief of Staff to the Chief Investment Officer General Account
About the positionResponsibilities• Support key reporting lines in the c.$bn General Account asset portfolio, focusing on numerous investment metrics, entities, strategies, portfolios, and asset classes. • Generate presentations for executive management that provide insight and recommendations on complex investment topics. • Serve as a point of contact to key OCIO stakeholders including Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, Investment Accounting, and Treasury. • Support Equitable's ESG/Responsible Investment program, including implementation of ESG integration and impact investment initiatives, reporting, and disclosures.• Assist in drafting materials for Equitable's investment committee and board of directors. • Coordinate strategic planning and execution of investment initiatives across the OCIO team. • Facilitate communication and alignment between the CIO and internal/external stakeholders. Requirements• + years experience in an investment analyst role, financial planning & analysis for a large company, and/or financial reporting role collaborating with numerous stakeholders. • Established prioritization skills with a clear focus on results.• Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and work within a fast-paced, project-driven, and team-oriented environment. • Proven analytical, and critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems and drive change. • Ability to develop and deliver presentations that synthesize complex problems and recommended solutions. • Background in finance, investments, and/or insurance. • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Nice-to-haves• Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including senior management.• Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and professionalism in dealing with management.
