Key Responsibilities Participate in project planning, design, and execution phases under the guidance of senior engineers. Conduct data analysis, simulations, and modeling to support engineering decisions and optimize processes. Assist in the development and implementation of new technologies and operational improvements. Ensure compliance with BP's stringent safety, environmental, and operational standards. Contribute to risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for engineering projects. Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, including operations, maintenance, and R&D. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for various stakeholders. Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities, including training programs and workshops. Support troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives to maintain operational efficiency and reliability. Participate in site visits and field inspections as required. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Petroleum) from an accredited institution. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fundamental understanding of engineering principles and concepts. Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. A passion for the energy industry and a commitment to safety and sustainability. Preferred Qualifications Relevant internship or co-op experience in an industrial or energy sector. Proficiency with engineering software or tools (e.g., CAD, simulation software). Active involvement in student engineering organizations or projects. Strong academic record (GPA of 3.0 or higher).
