What You'll DoThe Bookkeeper supports the US Accounting team with data entry, transaction processing, and ledger updates. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, strong bookkeeping skills, and a high level of integrity.Reporting to the Country Financial Controller, the Bookkeeper plays a key role in maintaining precise financial records. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:• Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable• Allocate cash payments to sales transactions• Reconcile discrepancies or errors identified and communicate accordingly• Ensure proper documentation is maintained for bank reconciliation• Process bank reconciliations across multiple accounts• Provide support for financial reporting and analysis as needed• Adhere to the company’s financial policies and procedures• Prepare monthly financial analysis and reconciliation files• Provide administrative support to accounting functions• Process daily customer refunds upon verification of stock returns and communicate issue resolutions with the customer service team• Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operationsWhat You'll Have• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Certifications (such as Xero Certification), and licenses beneficial. • 2-3 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role• Solid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)• Experience managing bookkeeping for multiple entities is preferred• Payroll processing experience is a plus• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and spreadsheet programs (Excel, bolthires Sheets)• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent time management and written communication skills• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a remote work environment• Professional demeanor with a strong ethical code• Team player with a commitment to contributing positively to company goalsWhat We Believe InOur company values are integral to our culture and success.We expect that you embrace our core values, with behaviours and actions that:• Delight the Customer• Focus on the Process• Take responsibility• Learn Grow and Develop• One Team TogetherWhy You’ll Love Working HereWhen you embark on your journey with BikesOnline, you’re not only joining a close-knit community, but contributing to a dynamic and rapidly expanding industry - sparking newfound creativity and innovation.
