Location: REMOTEDescription:Job Title: Audiology Provider – Independent Contractor (Veteran Disability Exams)Company:The Judge GroupLocation: United States (On-site, Independent Practice)Employment Type: ContractAbout the RoleThe Judge Group is seeking experienced Audiology Providers (Au.D, M.A., M.S., Ph.D, MCD, Ed.D) to join our national provider network as independent contractors. In this role, you will conduct general medical disability examinations for U.S. Veterans, helping to determine eligibility for compensation and pension benefits.These are non-treatment evaluations focused solely on disability assessment. Key Responsibilities• Perform audiology examinations and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in accordance with VA guidelines• Review medical and military records, conduct diagnostic testing, and interview Veterans to gather clinical evidence• Develop medical opinions regarding the service connection of hearing-related conditions• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and submission of findingsRequired Qualifications• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an ACAE- or CAA-ASHA-accredited institution• Active state audiology license in good standing• Malpractice insurance coverage• Access to a private, fully equipped audiology office (Veterans will travel to your location)• Reliable computer and internet connectionRequired Testing Capabilities• Audiogram (Puretone and Bone Conduction Thresholds)• Acoustic Reflex Testing and Tympanometry (Ipsilateral and Contralateral)• Speech Discrimination Testing (Maryland CNC word list)• Stenger Test• Cerumen extractionFacility Requirements• Sound-isolated/proof booth, fully enclosed and wheelchair accessible• Booth must meet current ANSI standards and have a valid sound room certificate of measurement• Audiometric equipment must be calibrated within the past 12 monthsWhy Join Us• Flexible scheduling and workload (will be required to be available anywhere between 1-3 days a week)• Meaningful work supporting Veterans• Competitive compensation per completed exam• Streamlined onboarding and support from a dedicated teamBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc.and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
