We are currently seeking an Associate Manager, Regulatory Submissions to in Richmond, VA.or we are open to remote work arrangements. This role sits within our Regulatory Affairs organization and will provide planning and project management services for the support of regulatory activities. What you will be doing:• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to develop the work-streams, project plans, budgets and bolthires completion dates vital for multiple regulatory affairs activities. • Present summaries of project milestones, progress and emerging issues to Regulatory Affairs management, and supporting management in preparation of presentations to Project Governance Boards.• Set up and direct regular and ad hoc interdepartmental meetings and weekly work-stream meetings to facilitate communication across departments and to monitor multiple project executions. Participate in regular meetings with vendors to observe project execution activities for outsourced project work. • Document outcomes of project-related discussions by generating meeting minutes, action items, and decision logs. Build and update shared file space for projects to serve as a repository for project-related documents.• Identify and present high-level project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies and alternative scenario plans. Facilitate and document lessons learned discussions throughout project execution. What we want you to have:• Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • 5+ years of professional experience in a regulated industry or regulatory agencies. • Working understanding of tobacco regulations and guidance documents preferred. • Experience handling budgets and vendors. • Understanding of Project Management processes - Project ManagementProfessional (PMP) certification highly desirable.• Proficiency in bolthires Project Professional, bolthires Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), and Adobe Acrobat Professional. • Leadership and relationship management skills with solid ability to meet goals and timelines. • Ability to collaborate with management and individuals at all levels of the organization. • Lead cross-functional and matrix teams to develop and implement project plans.
