After-Hours Inpatient Psychiatrist (Telemedicine – New York License)

Flexible overnight telepsychiatry coverage providing consults, admissions, and ER support for adult inpatient care. Position Overview:Alina Telehealth is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist with an active New York medical license to provide after-hours telemedicine coverage for an inpatient psychiatric unit. This position focuses on phone consults and emergency call management, allowing you to deliver essential psychiatric support remotely during evening and overnight hours. Position DetailsRole: Inpatient Psychiatrist (Telemedicine – After Hours)Location:Remote (New York License Required)Schedule: Minimum of 12 shifts per month, 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM EST, Monday–SundayPatients: AdultsService: Phone call and consult coverageResponsibilities• The physician will be available to respond to emergency room calls.• Attend to every consultation that arises with utmost care and attention. • Prescribe medications and place admission orders as needed. • All calls will be promptly attended to. • The patient will be seen when needed. Qualifications• Active and unrestricted New York medical license. • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry. • Prior inpatient or telepsychiatry experience preferred.
