Position: Actuary-Rate Filings (REMOTE)Actuary-Rate Filings (REMOTE)Contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s insurance client. Pay rate: $45-52/hr remote. What You’ll Be Doing• Lead and support personal lines rate filings (Auto and Umbrella), including direct engagement with state DOIs. • Independently review and provide feedback on rate filings prepared by junior analysts, ensuring actuarial soundness and strategic alignment. • Anticipate and address DOI objections with thoughtful, data-driven responses that support the filing’s integrity and business goals.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure filings reflect current trends, regulatory expectations, and competitive positioning. Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field and 4+ years of actuarial or analytical experience, with at least 2 years focused on personal lines rate filings in the United States. • Knowledge of computer programming languages, such as Visual Basic. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Excellent communication skills.• CAS, ACAS, or FCAS required.
